![]() The ongo real hurdle would be detecting if a window is maximized or not. ![]() If this is possible, I think it would make a lot more people able to enjoy a fully transparent taskbar, And again, if anyone happens to have other suggestions on how I could accomplish this, I'd love to know, I'm pretty muc drawing a blank on how I could get it to work without some kind of software feature in either rainmeter or Classic Shell that allows me to either measure whether something is windowed in a given way (in the case of rainmeter) or change taskbar transparency when something is maximized or windowed to the left/right (in the case of Classic Shell)Īt-least on-the fly changing of the monitor transparency is feasible. Simply put, I'd like to be able to set a different Alpha value for the taskbar when a window is maximized (or potentially when windowed left, or right, if possible) I'm currently making a material design theme for my desktop, and the issue I'm running into is that: looks fantastic, however: looks rather absurd, since it looks like the taskbar has a weird geometric pattern on it. If anyone can think of another way to accomplish this, I'd love to hear it. Hey, so I'm not sure if this is feasible, but assuming it is, I think it would make a great addition to Classic Shell.
